Description: perennial; endemic to the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine and Romania. A dense, evergreen cushion of pointed blue-green foliage. Lacy, white flowers with central maroon spots in spring. 

Height: to 8 in. Spread: to 15 in.

Position: full sun and lean, well-draining soil

Uses: ornamental
