Description: perennial; thought to be a hybrid of G. canadensis discovered along a roadside near Abbeville, South Carolina and introduced by Goodness Grows Nursery of Georgia. Low and spreading with fragrant light purple flower clusters from summer until first frost. Very popular with butterflies and other pollinators. Incredibly low-maintenance and long-blooming.
Height: to 8 in. Spread: to 3 ft.
Position: full sun and well-draining soil
Uses: ornamental- as a groundcover, to attract pollinators
Winter Hardiness: to 10 F and below
