Description: evergreen shrub; compact, dense growth and strongly fragrant, violet-blue flower spikes on mid-length stems. Makes a tidy, low hedge.

Origin: mistakenly sold as 'Hidcote' by Muntons Microplants of Stowmarket, Suffolk in 1994 and then named 'Cedar Blue' in 1995 to avoid confusion with the true 'Hidcote'
