Description: evergreen shrub; an introduction by Don Roberts of Premier Botanicals Ltd. in Albany, OR and named after the nearby unincorporated community of Eola, Oregon. Bright, silver foliage and very fragrant, violet flower spikes on mid-length stems.

 

Height: to 2 ft. Spread: to 3 ft.


Stem length: 10-12 in.  

Corolla: mid violet

Calyx: dark violet with sage green at the base, woolly

Bloom season: early summer

Best Uses: landscaping, culinary, bouquets, crafts


Position: full sun and well-draining soil
