Description: evergreen shrub; introduced by Major Lawrence Johnston of Hidcote Manor sometime before 1957. Gray-green foliage and sweetly fragrant, pale pink flower spikes on mid-length stems.

Corolla: pale pink

Calyx: greenish white, very woolly
