Lavandula angustifolia 'Norfolk-J2'

Description: evergreen shrub; a field cultivar ('J2') used briefly by Norfolk Lavender of England and brought to the U.S. by Thomas DeBaggio in the early 1980s where it has been known as 'Norfolk-J2' in the U.S. ever since. Robust growth and strongly fragrant, violet flower spikes on mid-length stems. Very popular for drying but not considered suitable for essential oil production.
