Description: evergreen shrub; a cultivar distributed by Munton  Microplants Ltd. of England, erroneously, as 'Twickel Purple' in the 1990s. Renamed by Simon Charlesworth of Downderry Nursery in 2001 after it was determined to be a unique cultivar. Low, compact growth and fragrant, dark violet flower spikes on mid-length stems. One of the lowest growing dark-flowered cultivars. Suitable for containers and rock gardens.
