Description: evergreen shrub; originally grown as a seed strain in Europe but introduced to the U.S. as a single clone by Art Tucker in the early 2000s. Compact, silver-green foliage and fragrant, violet-blue flower spikes on mid-length stems. 

 

Height: to 20 in. Spread: to 2 ft.


Stem length: 10-12 in.  

Corolla: violet-blue 

Calyx: dark violet, sage green at the base

Bloom season: early summer

Best Uses: landscaping, culinary, bouquets, potpourri, crafts


Position: full sun and well-draining soil
