Description: perennial; reputed to have been the original form of spearmint used in Cuban mojitos. Aromatic, green leaves with a strong spearmint flavor. Flowers in summer.
Height: to 2 ft. Spread: to 6 ft.
Position: sun or shade, any soil. Mints generally spread aggressively by rhizomes and can quickly become a nuisance in the garden. We strongly recommend growing them in containers to prevent unwanted spreading.
