Description: perennial; a hybrid of M. fistulosa and M. didyma selected and introduced by Sandy Mush Herb Nursery of North Carolina. Vigorous growth, excellent mildew resistance, large, rich purple flowerheads and profuse blooms in summer. A fast favorite in the garden.
Height: to 4 ft. Spread: to 3 ft.
Position: partial shade (ideally morning sun and light afternoon shade), good air circulation, and well-draining soil
Uses: medicine, culinary- herbal tea, to attract pollinators
Winter Hardiness: to 0 F and below
Care: no special care needed, can be pruned hard in spring to rejuvenate foliage
