Osmanthus fragrans var. aurantiacus
Common name(s): fragrant tea olive, orange flowering tea olive
Description: evergreen shrub; upright growth with dense, glossy evergreen foliage. Loads of incredibly fragrant tiny orange flowers perfume the air with the smell of sweet apricots in early fall. With a gentle breeze we have smelled ours from over 100 ft. away. Reputed to be hardier than most white flowering forms of O. fragrans.
Height: to 10 ft. Spread: to 8 ft.
Position: full sun and well-draining soil
Uses: ornamental, culinary- osmanthus tea, infusions, syrups, etc.

Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Kaori Hime'
Common name(s): holly tea olive, fragrant princess tea olive
Description: evergreen shrub; an uncommonly small selection of O. heterophyllus and one that requires patience as it is relatively slow-growing. Small, holly-like leaves and very fragrant, tiny white flowers in autumn. Very hardy.
